The Sound Module is your central control for customizing the auditory experience within the inFlight Addon. It is divided into several tabs, each addressing a specific category of sound.

The Sound Module is your central control for customizing the auditory experience within the inFlight Addon. It is divided into several tabs, each addressing a specific category of sound.
When you open the Sound Module, you'll see several tabs at the top. Click on each tab to access its specific settings:
Announcements
Crew Interactions
Volume
Voices
Effects
This tab allows you to control various in-app announcements. Announcements are categorized by the phase of flight they are relevant to. Toggle individual announcements on/off.
This tab allows you to manage vocal interactions with your virtual crew. Crew Interactions are categorized by the phase of flight they are relevant to. Toggle individual interactions on/off.
This tab allows you to adjust the volume levels for different audio components within the addon and manage audio output devices.
"Volume Control Type" Dropdown: Select how you want to control the addon's volume. Options include:
"Master Volume": A single slider controls all addon audio.
"Custom Volume": Individual sliders are available for each audio type.
"Master Volume" Slider: If "Master Volume" is selected as the control type, use this slider to adjust the overall volume of the addon.
If "Custom Volume" is selected, the following sliders will be available:
"Cockpit Volume" Slider: Adjust the volume of sounds originating from the cockpit.
"Cabin Volume" Slider: Adjust the volume of sounds originating from the cabin.
"Flight Attendant Greeting Volume" Slider: Adjust the volume of flight attendant greetings.
"Passenger Volume" Slider: Adjust the volume of passenger-related sounds.
"Background Music Volume" Slider: Adjust the volume of any background music.
"Voices Audio Device" Dropdown: Select the audio output device for voices within the addon.
"Passengers Audio Device" Dropdown: Select the audio output device for passenger sounds within the addon.
This tab allows you to select and configure the voices used for announcements and interactions.
"Pilot Voice" Dropdown: Select your preferred voice for the pilot.
"Flight Attendant Voice" Dropdown: Select your preferred voice for the flight attendant.
"Enable OpenAI Voices" Switch: Toggle this switch to on to enable the use of OpenAI-generated voices. (Premium Feature)
"OpenAI API Key" Input Field: If OpenAI Voices are enabled, enter your OpenAI API key here.
"Test Voice" Button: Click this button to test the currently selected OpenAI voice.
This tab allows you to apply various audio effects to voices and sounds within the addon.
"Effects Group" Buttons: Select the group of sounds you wish to apply effects to:
"Flight Attendants": Apply effects to flight attendant voices.
"Flight Attendant Greetings": Apply effects to flight attendant greetings.
"Passengers": Apply effects to passenger sounds.
"Preset" Buttons: For the selected effects group, choose a preset to quickly apply a combination of effects:
"Preset 1"
"Preset 2"
"Preset 3"
"Custom": Select "Custom" to manually adjust the individual effect sliders.
If "Custom" is selected as the preset, the following sliders become available for fine-tuning:
"Filter Freq" Slider: Adjust the frequency of the audio filter.
"Reverb Mix" Slider: Adjust the mix level of the reverb effect.
"Distortion" Slider: Adjust the intensity of the distortion effect.
"Test Sound" Button: Click this button to play a sample sound with the currently applied effects and settings.
