Simply open the app, minimize it to the system tray, and it’s ready to go whenever you are.

# Installation

### Choose inFlight Plan

To get started, either start with Basic for free or purchase inFlight. Standard and Premium versions including Monthly and Yearly can be purchased directly from [inFlightaddon.com](https://inFlightAddon.com/pricing) powered by [Lemon Squeezy](https://store.inflightaddon.com/checkout) (recently acquired by Stripe). Simply head over to the pricing page to choose which works best for you. The Basic version contains limited sounds and voices.

Once you have purchased inFlight, you will receive an email with a License Key/CD-Key (simMarket) upon successful purchase.

.NET v6 (x64) and an active internet connection is required to use and play inFlight. The installation will automatically determine if you do not have .NET installed and will install the correct version needed for inFlight to operate.

Once the installation is complete, inFlight will open.&#x20;

### Sign Up For Account

# Starting Positions

When initiating a flight in the inFlight addon, your aircraft's starting position will be automatically detected or manually set. Each starting position has specific configurations to ensure a smooth transition into your flight. Below are the descriptions of each starting position and what they represent:

## **Parked at Gate or Parking**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is initially positioned at a gate or parking spot.
* The aircraft has not yet moved from its starting position.

**Description:** The **Parked at Gate or Parking** phase represents the state of the aircraft when it is positioned at a gate or parking area before any significant movement occurs. It signifies the start of ground operations where the aircraft is stationary and awaiting further procedures such as boarding or pushback.

**User Tips:**

* This phase confirms that the aircraft has started its journey parked at the gate or parking area.
* Ground handling and boarding activities typically occur during this phase.

## **Started on Runway**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft starts on a runway, engines running, and ready for takeoff.

**Description:** The **Started on Runway** position sets the aircraft on a runway with engines on, ready for an immediate takeoff. This phase is perfect for quick departures without going through ground procedures.

**User Tips:**

* Ensure your aircraft is configured for takeoff, including flaps and trim settings.
* Be ready to initiate takeoff clearance from ATC or self-coordinate for departure.

## **Started in Air**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft starts airborne at a designated altitude, engines running, and potentially already in a climb or cruise.

**Description:** The **Started in Air** position places the aircraft already airborne, bypassing takeoff and initial climb procedures. This is ideal for mid-flight training, testing specific flight phases, or resuming from a previous session.

#### **Special Considerations for In-Air Starts**

When starting in the air, the system checks various altitude points:

* **Above 400 Feet**: Marks the initial climb stage.
* **Above 3000, 5000, 10000, and 18000 Feet**: Each altitude triggers a corresponding flight phase recognition, such as passing certain climb checkpoints or reaching cruising altitude.
* **Descent Phases**: If the current session indicates descent, it automatically updates to reflect the correct descent phase.

When starting in the air, the current flight phase is identified up to the cruise phase, provided that a cruising altitude is defined. If no cruising altitude is specified, the aircraft will only display as "Airborne" rather than progressing through the "Climb" phases.

* Check the Flight Details on the inFlight Status window to ensure the proper cruising altitude is set.

## **Other Ground Positions**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft starts on the ground, not on a runway, with engines either on or off.

**Description:** If your aircraft starts on the ground but not on a runway, it will automatically configure based on engine status, similar to the **Pre-Boarding** phase.


# Manual Starting Positions

In some cases—due to simulator behavior or the layout of a specific airport—the correct starting position may not be automatically detected. Additionally, you may simply prefer to choose a starting point manually.

To do this, click the **"More"** button and select your desired **Starting Position** from the list.\
It’s quick and easy.

Manual starting positions are identical to the automatic ones, with one exception:\
**Manual mode includes an additional option — "Start of Taxiway."**

## **Start on Taxiway**

**Aircraft State:**

* The aircraft begins at the **Taxiing for Takeoff** phase, positioned on the taxiway and ready to roll.

**Description:**\
This starting point places your aircraft at the beginning of the taxi phase—ideal for quick departures without the need to go through boarding, startup, or pushback procedures.

**User Tips:**

* Make sure your aircraft systems are properly configured and ready for taxi before proceeding.


# Understanding Flight Phases

The inFlight Addon intelligently tracks your flight's progress and automatically transitions through various flight phases to ensure relevant announcements, interactions, and features are activated at

Here's a general overview of the flight phases that inFlight monitors:

* Pre-Flight / Parked at Gate or Parking: This phase begins when you start your flight at a gate or parking position. During this time, the addon will handle initial greetings, boarding announcements, and preparations for departure.
* Pushback: If applicable, inFlight will detect when your aircraft is pushing back from the gate, coordinating with ground crew interactions.
* Starting Engines: The addon recognizes when engines are being started, triggering appropriate crew callouts.
* Taxiing: As you taxi towards the runway, inFlight identifies this phase, enabling taxi announcements and relevant crew interactions.
* On Runway / Take-Off: When your aircraft is positioned on the runway and begins its take-off roll, the addon detects this, triggering take-off announcements and safety briefings.
* Climb: After take-off, inFlight monitors your ascent through various altitudes (e.g., 400 feet, 3000 feet, 5000 feet, 10000 feet, 18000 feet), adjusting announcements accordingly.
* Cruise: Once your aircraft reaches its cruising altitude, the addon enters the cruise phase, where cruise-specific announcements and interactions occur.
* Descent: As you begin your descent towards the destination, inFlight recognizes the various descent stages (e.g., below 18000 feet, 10000 feet, 5000 feet).
* Pre-Landing: This phase prepares for landing, including pre-landing announcements and gear deployment detection.
* Landing: The addon detects when your aircraft is landing, triggering landing announcements.
* After Landing / Taxiing to Gate: After touching down, inFlight monitors your taxi to the gate or parking, providing relevant announcements.
* Arrived at Gate / Shut Down: The final phase signifies your arrival at the gate or parking, where arrival announcements and shutdown procedures are recognized.

The inFlight Addon seamlessly transitions between these phases based on real-time flight data from your simulator, ensuring a dynamic and immersive experience.


# Flight Phases

Flight Phases are the core of inFlight. It's what drives the sounds that you hear.

Flight Phases are separated into two sections, those that use the In-Game ATC and those that don't. Your experience with inFlight will vary depending on which option you use with the best option being using In-Game ATC and native planes. However, even we at inFlight don't use the In-Game planes, so choose wisely...it may be your last...jk jk, lol.

## **Pre-Boarding**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is parked in at a gate or in aircraft parking.
* The aircraft has not yet taken off or landed.

**Description:** The **Pre-Boarding** phase begins when the aircraft is at the gate or parking. This phase marks the initial preparation for boarding, where the aircraft's systems are activated before passenger boarding starts.

## **Pushback**

## **Pushback - (ATC Controlled Pushback)**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is not boarding, has not taken off, and has not landed.
* Pushback is available and attached to the aircraft.
* The parking brake status determines the ground crew message.:
  * **Brake Off:** The parking brake is released.&#x20;
  * **Brake On:** The parking brake is engaged.
* Engine RPMs determine whether engines are on or off during pushback:
  * For single-engine aircraft, the engine RPM must exceed 2000.
  * For multi-engine aircraft, all engines must meet the 2000 RPM threshold.

**Description:** The **Pushback** phase occurs when the aircraft initiates a pushback maneuver with ATC involvement. This phase monitors the engines status:

* **Engines On**: This state is triggered when the engines are running during pushback, indicating the aircraft is ready to proceed with further taxi operations.
* **Engines Off**: This state occurs when engines are not yet started, usually indicating an early pushback before engine startup.

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is not boarding, has not taken off, and has not landed.
* The aircraft is moving backward at a slow speed, indicating a pushback maneuver.
* Engine RPMs determine whether engines are on or off during pushback:
  * For single-engine aircraft, the engine RPM must exceed 2000.
  * For multi-engine aircraft, all engines must meet the 2000 RPM threshold.

**Description:** The **Pushback** phase occurs when the aircraft initiates a pushback maneuver **WITHOUT** ATC involvement. This phase monitors the parking brake and engines status:

* **Engines On**: This state is triggered when the engines are running during pushback, indicating the aircraft is ready to proceed with further taxi operations.
* **Engines Off**: This state occurs when engines are not yet started, usually indicating an early pushback before engine startup.
* **Brakes On:** This phase monitors the setting of the parking brake once pushback has begun. Engaging the parking brake triggers the transition to the "Cleared to Taxi" phase.

FlyByWire’s A320 does not communicate the parking brake status to MSFS. As a result, if you are not using the in-game ATC, the "Cleared to Taxi" phase will only activate when the aircraft's ground speed reaches at least 5 mph.

## **Ready to Taxi**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has completed the pushback process, and pushback equipment is detached.
* The aircraft is not on a runway and has not yet started taxiing.
* All engines must be running, with RPMs greater than 2000 for each engine.
* The aircraft is not at a parking spot, and parking brake checks are accounted for.

**Description:** The **Ready to Taxi** phase signals that the aircraft is fully prepared to begin taxi operations. This phase indicates that the engines are operational, and the aircraft is cleared to start taxiing towards the runway.

**User Tips:**

* Ensure all engines are running with proper RPM levels before taxiing.
* Confirm pushback equipment is detached and no longer influencing aircraft movement.

## **Engine Start**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has completed pushback, but engines are not yet started.
* Ground speed is minimal, and the aircraft is not on a runway.
* The starter for the corresponding engine is active, initiating the engine start process.

**Description:** The **Engine Start** phase occurs when the aircraft begins starting its engines after pushback. Each engine start is monitored individually, progressing sequentially based on the number of engines. This phase is crucial for transitioning from ground handling to flight preparation.

**User Tips:**

* Follow standard engine start procedures, ensuring each engine reaches optimal RPM.
* Monitor engine status to prevent delays during startup.

## **Engines On - Ready to Taxi**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft starts with engines already on after pushback, without any additional engine start required.
* The aircraft is not on a runway and has completed the pushback process.

**Description:** The **Engines On - Ready to Taxi** phase indicates that the aircraft is immediately ready to begin taxiing without needing additional engine starts. This phase is typically seen when engines were already running prior to pushback.

**User Tips:**

* Ensure proper coordination with ground control before beginning taxi operations.
* Double-check that all systems are ready for taxi.

## **Preparing to Taxi**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has completed pushback and engine startup, and either
  * Parking brake is **NOT** set & ATC clearance for taxi is received, or
  * Parking brake **IS** set, or
  * The aircraft is moving faster than 5 knots, indicating self-initiated taxi clearance

**Description:** The **Cleared to Taxi** phase is an acknowledgment that the aircraft has received clearance, either from ATC or through self-coordination, to proceed toward the runway for takeoff. During this phase the takeoff briefing is reviewed. This is the final step before moving into the active taxiing phase.

**User Tips:**

* Ensure taxi clearance is obtained from ATC if operating in a controlled environment.
* Release the parking brake and begin taxiing carefully, following ground markings and instructions.

Functionality of the phase has changed a bit. For user using ATC, be sure to **NOT** set the parking brake directly after pushback. Wait until ATC taxi clearance is obtained, then you can set your parking brake while the takeoff briefing is played.

## **Taxiing for Takeoff**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is cleared to taxi or has started all engines and is moving at a speed above 6 knots.
* The aircraft remains on taxiways and is moving toward the runway.

**Description:** The **Taxiing for Takeoff** phase occurs when the aircraft begins moving along the taxiway system toward the takeoff runway. This phase involves navigating ground traffic and preparing for the subsequent takeoff phase.

**User Tips:**

* Follow ATC instructions or ground markings to navigate to the runway safely.
* Maintain a controlled taxi speed, typically under 45 knots, to ensure safe ground handling.

## **Takeoff Check Complete**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has been cleared for takeoff by ATC.
* The aircraft has entered the runway designated for takeoff.

**Description:** The **Takeoff Check Complete** phase indicates that all necessary checks have been performed, and the aircraft is on the runway, ready for the takeoff roll. This phase ensures that the aircraft is fully prepared to begin takeoff procedures.

**User Tips:**

* Ensure that all pre-takeoff checks are completed before entering the runway.
* Confirm ATC clearance for takeoff to avoid delays or conflicts.

## **Takeoff Power Set**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has entered the runway and is ready for takeoff.
* Throttle lever positions or engine RPMs are set to appropriate takeoff levels:
  * For single-engine aircraft: throttle lever position >= 70 or engine RPM >= 80% of max rated RPM.
  * For multi-engine aircraft: all engines must meet the specified thresholds.

**Description:** The **Takeoff Power Set** phase occurs when the engines are set to the required power levels for takeoff. This phase ensures that the aircraft has sufficient thrust to commence the takeoff roll effectively.

**User Tips:**

* Ensure throttles are set to takeoff power to achieve necessary speeds.
* Verify engine performance to avoid aborting the takeoff due to insufficient power.

## **Takeoff**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is accelerating on the runway, with ground velocity or indicated airspeed reaching or exceeding 80 knots.
* Takeoff power has already been set.

**Description:** The **Takeoff** phase represents the aircraft's acceleration down the runway as it gains speed for liftoff. This phase is a critical step where the aircraft transitions from ground operations to flight.

**User Tips:**

* Maintain runway alignment and ensure stable acceleration.
* Be prepared for rotation and liftoff as speed builds up.

## **Airborne**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has lifted off the ground and is no longer in contact with the runway.
* Altitude above ground exceeds 100 feet, and indicated airspeed is above 100 knots.

**Description:** The **Airborne** phase indicates that the aircraft has successfully taken off and is now climbing away from the runway. This phase marks the beginning of the flight's airborne portion, transitioning from takeoff to initial climb.

**User Tips:**

* Maintain positive rate of climb and retract landing gear as appropriate.
* Monitor airspeed and altitude to ensure a smooth transition to the climb phase.

## **Gear Up**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has successfully taken off.
* The landing gear handle is in the "up" position (retracted).

**Description:** The **Gear Up** phase is triggered when the landing gear is retracted after takeoff. This phase marks the transition from initial takeoff to climb, ensuring the aircraft is aerodynamically optimized for flight.

**User Tips:**

* Retract the landing gear once safely airborne to reduce drag and improve climb performance.
* Verify gear retraction to prevent any potential issues during climb.

## **400 Feet**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is airborne and has climbed at least 400 feet above the ground.
* The aircraft is not on the runway.

**Description:** The **400 Feet** phase indicates that the aircraft has reached 400 feet above the ground after takeoff. This milestone is a common altitude used to signal that initial climb-out procedures are complete.

**User Tips:**

* Continue monitoring climb performance and prepare for further altitude changes.
* Ensure the aircraft is configured correctly for climb at this point.

## **3000 Feet**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has climbed to at least 3000 feet above ground level after takeoff.

**Description:** The **3000 Feet** phase signals that the aircraft has reached 3000 feet, a key point in the climb-out phase where further adjustments for climb speed and configuration might be necessary.

**User Tips:**

* Monitor engine performance and adjust climb rate as needed.
* Be prepared for potential ATC instructions for further climb or level off.

## **Above 10,000 Feet**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has climbed above 10,000 feet indicated altitude.

**Description:** The **Above 10,000 Feet** phase indicates that the aircraft has crossed 10,000 feet, which typically marks the point where pilots adjust speeds and prepare for higher altitude cruising.

**User Tips:**

* Comply with regulations regarding lights, seat belts, and other procedures specific to climbing above 10,000 feet.
* Monitor cabin and passenger conditions, as pressurization becomes more critical.

## **18000 Feet Climb Check**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has climbed past 18,000 feet indicated altitude.

**Description:** The **18000 Feet Climb Check** phase occurs as the aircraft climbs past 18,000 feet, often a significant point where flight levels begin, and altimeters are set to standard pressure.

**User Tips:**

* Set altimeters to the standard pressure setting (29.92 inHg or 1013 hPa) at this altitude.
* Prepare for cruise altitude procedures as you continue the climb.

* The aircraft reaches its cruising altitude.

* Ensure all cabin services and passenger needs are managed during this stable flight phase.

## **Snacks**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is in cruise, and there is a designated snack service based on flight settings.

**Description:** The **Snacks** phase represents a light service period during cruise, usually involving beverages and light snacks for passengers.

**User Tips:**

* Coordinate with cabin crew to ensure timely and efficient snack service.
* Monitor cabin conditions and respond to passenger needs.

## **First Meal**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft is in cruise, and a meal service is planned based on flight duration.

**Description:** The **First Meal** phase marks the first substantial meal service during the flight, typically served during longer flights.

**User Tips:**

* Ensure that the meal service is executed efficiently, and cabin crew are responsive to passenger requests.
* Coordinate timing to avoid conflicts with other in-flight activities.

## **Other Meals**

* Manage speed, altitude, and passenger comfort during this phase.

## **18000 Feet Descent Check**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft descends below 18,000 feet.

**Description:** The **18000 Feet Descent Check** phase is a critical point in descent where altitude settings and aircraft configuration are checked to ensure proper approach preparation.

* Reset altimeters from standard pressure to the local altimeter setting.
* Prepare for approach and landing procedures as you continue descent.

## **On Approach**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft descends below 10,000 feet indicated altitude.
* The aircraft had previously climbed above 10,000 feet during its ascent.

**Description:** The **On Approach** phase indicates that the aircraft is descending and has reached an altitude of 10,000 feet or lower, marking the beginning of the approach phase. This is a critical part of the descent, where the aircraft transitions from cruise to preparing for landing.

**User Tips:**

* Reduce speed as necessary and configure the aircraft for approach.
* Follow ATC instructions for sequencing and runway assignment.
* Ensure passengers are prepared for landing, with seat belts fastened and cabin secured.

This phase emphasizes the importance of landing preparations, including configuring the aircraft and ensuring that all landing checklists are completed.

**User Tips:**

* Lower landing gear and set flaps according to the approach procedure.
* Perform final landing checks, including verifying approach speed and runway alignment.
* Communicate with the cabin crew to ensure the cabin is ready for landing.

## **Localizer Captured**

**Trigger Conditions:**

* The aircraft has descended below 5,000 feet and is on approach.
* The autopilot has captured the localizer signal for runway alignment.
* The gear status determines the specific phase:

* "Captain Name" Input Field: Enter your desired pilot name in this field. This name will be used within the inFlight app.
  * Updating Your Name: Changes made here will update your display name in the app and your Firebase user profile.

#### Show Captain Name on Flight Map

* "Show Captain Name on Flight Map?" Switch: Toggle this switch on to display your captain name directly on the in-flight map. Toggle it off to hide it.

#### Announcement/Crew Interactions Tone/Style

* "Formal/Professional" Dropdown: This dropdown menu (available to Premium users) allows you to select the tone and style of announcements and crew interactions within the app. Options include:

# Aircraft

The Aircraft Options screen provides settings for selecting your aircraft's flap settings, and managing aircraft type based on passenger capacity.

### Aircraft Selection and Configuration ⚙️

These settings allow you to specify the aircraft in use and manage its characteristics within the inFlight Addon.

#### Flaps Settings

* "Aircraft" Dropdown: Use this dropdown menu to select the specific aircraft you're flying.
  * "Auto-Detect" Option: If you choose "Auto", the addon will attempt to automatically identify the aircraft you're currently using in the simulator.
* "Flaps Settings" Dropdown: This menu allows you to choose how inFlight manages flap configurations. This is important for accurate in-app announcements and interactions.
  * "Auto-Detect" Option: If you choose "auto", the addon will attempt to automatically identify the flap settings for the aircraft you're currently using in the simulator.

#### Aircraft Type Designation

* "Passenger Capacity" Input Field: Enter the maximum passenger capacity of your aircraft. This setting is used for passenger-related interactions and calculations within the addon.
  * "Auto-Detect" Option: If you choose "Auto", the addon will attempt to automatically identify the aircraft type designation you're currently using in the simulator.

#### Global Volume Settings

* "Volume Control Type" Dropdown: Select how you want to control the addon's volume. Options include:
  * "Master Volume": A single slider controls all addon audio.
  * "Custom Volume": Individual sliders are available for each audio type.
* "Master Volume" Slider: If "Master Volume" is selected as the control type, use this slider to adjust the overall volume of the addon.

#### Custom Volume Settings

If "Custom Volume" is selected, the following sliders will be available:

* "Cockpit Volume" Slider: Adjust the volume of sounds originating from the cockpit.

* "Enable Flight Evaluation" Switch: Toggle this switch to on to activate the inFlight Evaluation Module. When enabled, the addon will track various aspects of your flight and provide a post-flight evaluation.
  * Premium Feature: Please note that the Flight Evaluation feature is available to Premium users.

The Defaults Options screen provides functionalities to reset all inFlight settings to their original defaults.

### Managing Your Settings ⚙️

#### Reset All Settings to Default

* "RESET ALL SETTINGS TO DEFAULT" Button: Click this button to revert all your inFlight Addon settings back to their factory default values.
  * Confirmation: Upon clicking, a confirmation prompt will appear asking "Are you sure you want to reset all settings to default?".
  * Proceeding with Reset:
    * Click "YES" to confirm and reset all settings.
    * Click "NO" to cancel the operation and keep your current settings.
  * Alert: A success message "Settings has been reset to default." will be displayed upon successful reset.


# Starting/Managing a Flight

## Getting Started

When you first open the inFlight Addon, you'll see the Flight Status screen. Before your flight officially begins, you'll need to initiate tracking.

## Starting Flight Tracking

To begin monitoring your flight, click the "START" button in the center of the screen.

* Manual Start Options: If you wish to specify your starting position in the simulator, click the "More" button located at the bottom left. This will reveal additional options:

  * "Start at Parking/Gate"
  * "Start On Taxiway"
  * "Start on Runway"
  * "Start in Air"

  Select the option that matches your current situation in the flight simulator. After selecting, the flight tracking will begin.

## Flight Information Display ℹ️

Once your flight tracking has started, the main display will show various pieces of information:

### Current Flight Phase

The large central display shows your "Current Flight Phase", such as "LOADING...", "TAXIING", or other flight stages.

* Taxiing Speed: When "TAXIING," a small box will appear to the left of the flight phase displaying your current ground speed in knots (kts), with a color indicator for safe taxiing:
  * Green: Safe taxiing speed.
  * Orange: Approaching overspeed.
  * Red: Overspeeding.

### Flight Details

To the right of the current flight phase, you'll see basic flight information:

* Aircraft Type: Displays the detected or selected aircraft.
* "Flt. Details" Button: Click this button to open a detailed flight information window.

### METAR Information

* "METAR" Button: Click this button to retrieve and display current METAR (Meteorological Aerodrome Report) information for your departure and destination airports.

## Simulator Status and Controls 🎮

At the top of the Flight Status screen, you'll find information related to your simulator connection and general controls:

#### Simulator Status

* "Flight Status: (DEP -> DEST FL-ALT)": This line indicates the flight route (departure ICAO, destination ICAO, and cruising altitude).

#### Simulation Rate

* Current Sim Rate: Next to the flight phase, you'll see "(Xx)", indicating the current simulation rate.
* Adjust Sim Rate: Use the "+" and "-" buttons next to the simulation rate to increase or decrease the simulation speed in the simulator.

## Volume Options

* Volume Icon: Click the speaker icon to open the "Flight Status Volume" panel, allowing you to adjust the volume levels for various in-app audio outputs (e.g., cockpit, flight attendant, passengers).

## Settings

* Settings Icon: Click the gear icon to open the Aircraft Settings directly.

## Docking and Hiding the Addon 📏

* Dock Button: Located on the far left, the "Dock Button" allows you to dock or undock the inFlight Addon window.
* "HIDE" Button: Adjacent to the Dock Button, click "HIDE" to minimize or hide the inFlight Addon window.

## Pausing and Ending a Flight ⏸️🛑

#### Paused State

If your flight simulator is paused, the Flight Status display will show "PAUSED" with a yellow background.

* "Override" Button: If the addon is paused but your simulator is active, you can click "Override" to resume inFlight's tracking.

#### Flight Ended

When your flight concludes, the screen will display "FLIGHT ENDED (Xx secs)" with a countdown. After the countdown, the addon will restart for a new flight.


# Restart a Flight

To restart your inFlight flight and begin a New Flight, follow these steps:

1. Locate the inFlight addon icon in your system tray (usually in the bottom-right corner of your screen, near the clock).
2. Right-click on the inFlight addon icon.
3. From the context menu that appears, select "New Flight."

This action will reset the inFlight addon and prepare it for a new flight session.


# Cancel Subscription

You can cancel your inFlight membership using any of the following methods:

1. **From the inFlight Console:**
   * Open the inFlight Console.
   * In the bottom-left corner, just above the Reddit icon, click **Manage Account**.
   * On your account page, locate your **Premium** plan and click **Manage**. This will take you to your subscription page, where you can cancel your membership.
2. **Using the Email Link:**
   * Open the email you received containing your license key.
   * Click the **Manage Subscription** link included in that email to access your account and cancel your membership.
3. **By Email Request:**
   * You can also request cancellation by emailing **<inflight@inflightaddon.com>**, and our team will handle it for you.

## Installation/Operation Issues

If you're encountering problems with installing, reinstalling, or running inFlight, follow these steps to fully clean and reinstall the inFlight addon:

1. Navigate to the following directory:\
   `C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\`\
   *(Replace `[YourUsername]` with your actual Windows username.)*
2. In this folder, search for **inFlight Console**.
3. Once you locate `inFlight Console.exe`, right-click on it and choose **Open file location**.
4. In the File Explorer window that opens, move one level up to the parent directory, then delete the entire folder.
5. Additionally, you can try uninstalling inFlight from the **Installed Apps** section under **Settings > Apps** in Windows.

## Entire UI Not Visible

If you’re experiencing issues where the full inFlight addon UI is not visible (for example, parts of the **Console screen** or **Flight Status screen** are cut off), this is usually caused by the current zoom level.

### How to Fix It

Follow these steps to adjust the zoom:

1. **Hold down the Control key** on your keyboard.
2. **Scroll your mouse wheel** while continuing to hold the Control key.
3. Adjust until the UI is fully visible at your desired zoom level.

### Tip

If you accidentally zoom too far in or out, repeat the steps until the UI returns to a comfortable size.

# I have multiple monitors and the inFlight Status Window shows on a non-primary monitor.

If you have multiple monitors and the flight status window appears on a non-primary monitor when starting a flight, you can easily move it to your main screen. Click the dock button to send the window to your primary monitor. Once it's docked, you can undock the flight status window, ensuring it displays correctly on your primary monitor.
